This was true for this adapter as well, and I even began the return process. Though, I decided to try one more thing: I performed a firmware update.The instructions for updating are included in the booklet that comes with the adapter. After the update, a few additional settings appeared, including an audio delay adjustment. I set the delay to the lowest level, and now the delay is reduced by about 99.8%. Though, I noticed some clicking artifacts in the sound. I will try later different levels for delay adjustment to see if I can get rid of the artifacts and find a sweet spot between audio sync and audio quality. Meanwhile I canceled the return process.
